Description

With the temperature data loggers testo 184 T2, you monitor the transport of sensitive goods such as pharmaceuticals, foods or electronics, over a maximum period of 150 days.

At their destination, a glance at the display or the LEDs tells you whether the configured limit values have been adhered to. In order to obtain detailed information, it is sufficient to connect the logger to a PC – a PDF report is immediately generated with all relevant data. In order for you to be able to work even more efficiently and conveniently with the data loggers, all required files and information are stored directly and securely in the testo 184 T2: Configuration file, acceptance test certificate 3.1 according to DIN ISO 10204, instruction manual and PDF report of your recorded data.

The measurement value store of the temperature data logger testo 184 T2 has a capacity of 40000 measurement values. The measurement rate is freely selectable from 1 min to 24 h.

testo 184 T2 is compliant with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, HACCP and EN 12830. Testo is an ISO 9001-certified company, and ensures the adherence to the norms through internal audits as well as accredited external audits.

All advantages at a glance:

1. Clear alarm indication

A glance at the the LEDs is enough to know whether limit values have been violated during transport.

2. Easiest operation

testo 184 T2 is intuitively operated, and can be used without special training or previous knowledge: The “Start” button begins data recording. “Stop” ends it.
3. Easiest configurationIn each testo 184 T2, a configuration file is stored, with which the configuration of the testo 184 T2 is childsplay – no download, no installation, no user interface and no additional costs.

4. Convenient readout

A PDF report with the transport data is created immediately on connection of the testo 184 T2 data logger to the USB interface of a computer. This is suitable for long-term archiving according to PDF/A standard.

5. Mobile readout/printout on site

Data transfer from the data logger to a compatible Testo fast printer (option) also functions wirelessly via NFC.

6. IT-safe
The testo 184 T2 data loggers work securely without software installation or download, so that IT problems are triggered neither by the firewall nor the virus scanner.

Applications

Monitoring and documentation of temperature, humidity and shock in food logistics

Handling foods involves danger to human health at all levels. In order to be able to eliminate them as far as possible, food companies must comply with an HACCP concept which guarantees food safety along the entire production chain ? "from farm to fork". The adherence to product-specific limit values and the uninterrupted monitoring of the cold chain are crucial. In many cases, the monitoring of humidity and shock, in addition to temperature, are relevant for the maintenance of food quality.

With the testo 184, quality managers in food logistics have six HACCP International-certified data loggers available to them, which monitor and document all critical parameters during the transport of foods. The data loggers testo 184 T1,T2, T3 and T4 have been additionally tested and certified according to EN 12830 by the T?V S?d, and are therefore ideally suitable for the transport of refrigerated and deep-frozen foods.

Monitoring and documentation of temperature and humidity during the transport of flowers

Researchers discovered long ago that the temperature during the transport of cut flowers and green plants has a crucial influence on their quality. Since flowers are traded globally, and as it is not uncommon for flowers from Kenya, Tanzania or Ecuador to be sold in the USA, Germany or Russia, the monitoring of transport conditions during their often days-long journeys is essential.

Flowers must be transported neither too warm not too cold. The former results in the loss of blossoms and leaves, the latter involves cold damage, which negatively influences not only the appearance but also the longevity of the plants. Sufficient air humidity is furthermore also of significance for the quality of the flowers.

With the data loggers testo 184, measuring instruments are now available to you with which you can monitor and document temperature and humidity in the logistics of cut flowers and green plants quickly, easily and reliably.

Monitoring and documentation of temperature, humidity and shock in logistic services of all kinds

Providers of logistic service often take on the responsibility for expensive and sensitive products from the fields of pharmaceuticals, food, electronics or art. The wrong conditions during transport can lead to considerable losses of quality, right up to the complete devaluation of the monitored products.

With the help of the testo 184 data logger, the prescribed temperature and humidity limit values as well as the shock tolerance levels can be monitored during transport, and thanks to the automatic report creation, very easily analyzed and documented. This allows all doubts regarding the correct transport conditions to be eliminated.

Shock-sensitive products such as electronics, delicate machinery or certain bio-pharmaceuticals can be additionally monitored for the violation of previously defined shock limits with the help of the testo 184 G1.

Monitoring and documentation of temperature, humidity and shock in pharmaceutical logistics

Most pharmaceuticals must be continuously transported and stored at defined upper and lower temperature and humidity limit values, along the entire supply chain. A violation of these predefined upper and lower limit values can lead to irreversible alterations of the active ingredients or the composition of the medicaments.

However, not only medicaments and their active ingredients are endangered. Minus temperatures or extreme temperature fluctuations can also cause damage to containers or medical instruments. The consequence is the threat of spoilage of the entire goods, financial losses and damage to reputation.

In GxP-compliant quality management, the control of the entire cold chain, from production to delivery, is therefore a prerequisite, in order not only to ensure product quality, but also to prevent financial losses and damage to your reputation in the pharmaceutical industry.

With the testo 184 data loggers, your products can be protected from unnoticed gaps in the cold chain, and the entire distribution path monitored and documented simply, securely and compliantly with all common standards, guidelines and regulations.
